Gold Prices Drop Sharply in Pakistan

In Karachi and across Pakistan, gold prices have recorded a notable decline, continuing the recent downward trend in the local bullion market.
According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of gold per tola has decreased by Rs 5,500, bringing the new rate down to Rs 479,562.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold has dropped by Rs 4,715, now standing at Rs 411,147.
Market analysts attribute this sharp decline to fluctuations in the international gold market. Globally, gold prices have fallen by $55 per ounce, reaching $4,572 per ounce.
The decrease in gold prices has provided temporary relief for buyers and investors, especially ahead of the wedding season, when demand typically increases in Pakistan.
